Albin Eklund

Albin Eklund is a Swedish jazz drummer based in Stockholm. He began playing drums at the age of nine and studied jazz and classical percussion at prestigious high school Södra Latin. He continued his education at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and further broadened his musical experience by studying at the Tribeca Jazz Institute in New York City during the fall of 2023.

During these studies Albin has had the chance to learn from great drummers such as Joseph Farnsworth, Kenny Washington, Rodney Green, Phil Stewart, Moussa Fadera, Bengt Stark and Snorre Kirk.

Today, Albin works full-time as a professional jazz musician, performing regularly with a variety of ensembles at concerts, festivals, private events, and corporate functions throughout Sweden and internationally.
